Trestle Board

A trestle board is a board used by architects or draftsmen on which to place their drawings or plans. The name is derived from the fact that the “board” is supported on trestles. A more common modern definition is a newsletter from a Masonic Lodge. Freemasonry adopted the name from the Books of Kings and the discussion of the building of King Solomon’s Temple. In Wheaton Lodge, the Trestle board is a newsletter that provides regular communication from the Lodge officers to the members. The Wheaton Lodge Communications Committee has authorized the online publishing of these Trestle board issues.
